Exmouth Fireworks 2026: Date, Time and Where to Watch

2026-08-15·Updated 23 Oct 2026·Exmouth

Short answer: Exmouth has two miles of flat, level promenade behind the beach — the easiest place in Devon to watch fireworks with a buggy or a wheelchair. The estuary reflects anything launched over it, and the dog ban lifts from October.

The most accessible viewing in Devon

This is Exmouth's real advantage. Two miles of flat, level promenade run behind the entire beach, which makes it genuinely straightforward with a buggy, a wheelchair or anyone who cannot stand on shingle in the dark. Very few Devon seafronts can say that.

The 2026 display

RNLI Firework Night, Exmouth Rugby Football Club — Friday 6 November. Exmouth's display is the night after Bonfire Night and it is at the rugby club rather than on the front, which surprises people who turn up at the beach expecting it.

Dates and times come from the organisers' own listings and the regional what's-on pages, checked in late October. Small displays are run by volunteers and can move or sell out, so confirm with the organiser before you travel — particularly for anything ticketed.

Where to watch from

What is open

One thing that does not change

The estuary currents at the western end are as dangerous in November as in July, and in the dark they are worse. Stay on the promenade side.

With a dog

Exmouth's summer dog ban lifts from October, so the whole beach is open. But see the guide to Bonfire Night with a nervous dog before bringing one to a display.
