Bay of Lights Torbay 2026: Free to Walk

2026-11-03·Torquay

Short answer: Saturday 28 November 2026 to Sunday 3 January 2027, and free. A mile and a half along Torquay seafront with eighteen installations, described by the organisers as fully accessible.

Dates and price

Saturday 28 November 2026 to Sunday 3 January 2027, and free. No ticket, no booking, nothing to pay. The organisers give the season as a date range rather than listing nights, so treat it as running through the season.

A free firework display opens it on the evening of Saturday 28 November.

The route

About a mile and a half along Torquay seafront, with eighteen installations along the way. The organisers describe it as fully accessible, which among Devon’s light trails makes it close to unique — it is a level seafront path rather than a country estate in the dark.

There are pixel-tree installations in Paignton and Brixham as well, so the lights are not confined to Torquay.

Practical

Every Christmas light trail in Devon this winter, with dates, prices and which ones are free.
