The pub on the quay has good outdoor space facing the water — the easy evening seat in the village.
The Boathouse at Instow is known for its sunset view back over the water. A short drive round, or the seasonal ferry. Book for evenings.
West of the village, a huge open beach with a full western sea horizon. The proper sunset over the Atlantic, with very few people there.
Arrive half an hour before sunset and stay twenty minutes after. The afterglow is usually better than the sunset itself, and most people leave the moment the sun touches the horizon.
